She goes by her stage name, Euijin. Her full name being Hong Euijin. Blessed to a small family consisting of a father, mother, and older sister on October 8th of 1996. Growing up, she found a love for musical arts; her specific interest resulting to dancing. She attended Seoul School of Performing Arts and grew fond of musical instruments also, now knowing how to play the recorder and violin. She also learned how to speak Japanese. Becoming a trainee for TS Entertainment soon after, she formed a group with six others under the name of ‘ Sonamoo ’ and debuted on December 29th of 2014 with the hit title song ‘ Déjà Vu, ’ wrapping up the promotions for their first mini album on February 8th. Euijin was recently accepted to Sejong University, and is currently attending school as the result to their hectic schedules coming to a temporary end.

People do say I talk alot, so … [‘ chuckles sheepishly, her shoulders shrugging lightly as she nodded. ] But the best way to develop a friendship, or so I’ve heard, is through food. So, are you free? Repeating the group name to herself a few times, she bit down on her bottom lip. She’s heard of the group before, really, but she couldn’t exactly differentiate them at all yet, and so she felt a bit apologetic to the female in front of her. “Thank you. The place seems very welcoming so I think I’ll love it very soon.” The way she was friendly had her smiling. “I’m Red Velvet’s Irene.”
“Ah, yes. Hello, Irene sunbaenim!” Euijin bowed politely towards the other, straightening up afterwards with an evident bright smile plastered on her face. She had heard a lot about Red Velvet, and they were all gorgeous and very talented ladies. Seeing their leader up close and face-to-face, though, was something else. Her beauty was beyond real! Euijin chuckled faintly to herself as she shook her head lightly at her own thoughts. “It’s very nice to meet you, Irene unnie. I’ve heard a lot of things about Red Velvet! Good things, of course~”
Call me what’s comfortable for you, whether it’s Myungsoo or L. I’m sure your group will do well.
